August 2024 Dynasty Ranks, Tank Me Later, and More Dizzle Dynasty News

Big things are coming.

Hello, all! It’s been a little while since our last Substack post, so I wanted to hop on with a short update about some of the excting things we have in store soon. It’s been an incredible journey since creating Dizzle Dynasty Sports in February 2023, and it’s time to take another step up as we inch closer to the 2024-2025 NBA season and another new year.

New Dynasty Basketball Ranks

With the dynasty basketball offseason coming up, rookie drafts in full swing and plenty of changes in free agency, there’s a lot to unpack and see where your dynasty teams are at. If you need a second opinion, our newest Dizzle Dynasty Basketball Ranks (August 2024 Update) are now live and 100% free for your viewing pleasure!

With this new update for August 2024, we’ve added a few new things of note:

• Expanded to top 500 players

• Brief notes and context for every single player

• Added the 2024 NBA Draft class and mirrors my current ranks of all the 2024 rookies, both drafted and undrafted

• Adjusted age formula for more accurate real-time ages and quicker rankings output in the future

• As always, 100% FREE!

Tank Me Later with Noah Rubin

This week was a big milestone as my first-ever guest appearance both in the fantasy basketball sphere and on the Tank Me Later podcast. Noah Rubin and I got to spend a nice chunk of time talking about all things centers, arguably the most interesting positon in all of dynasty basketball. If you’re interested in hearing our thoughts about players like Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, Alperen Sengun, Jalen Duren, Mark Williams and plenty more, check out the latest Tank Me Later episode below! What to Expect in the Next Few Months

As far as content goes, Brian and I are hard at work on some exciting multimedia stuff that’s sure to get all of you excited. Rest assured, we’ll be cooking very soon, so expect to see some new and familiar articles and series popping back up on your timelines. If you’re not following us on Substack and/or Twitter, be sure to check those links or our Linktree to stay on top of everything we’re doing.

Here’s just a few things you can expect from us over the next few months:

• A brand-new website and digital interface for all things Dizzle Dynasty

• Dynasty and redraft-centric articles (sleepers, hot takes, overrated/underrated player ADP, etc.)

• More general articles and reportings around the NBA

• More dynasty rank updates

• 2025 NBA Draft scouting reports, big boards, sleepers and more

• New podcast series and episodes (including the above topics)

• Giveaways, merchandise and new ways to support the Dizzle Dynasty

Trust me, you’re going to love everything we have coming. The biggest news of all will be the launch of our own Dizzle Dynasty website. This will essentially host everything you see here on Substack with the added bonus of more exclusive content, such as a full-time platform for dynasty ranks and otherwise, new articles and forms of content you can’t get on Substack and plenty more features. While our Substack will remain open, you’ll now have the opportunity to participate more directly with our content in multiple platforms. This will allow us to both reach our entire audience of over 1,600 followers across all platforms and establish a single destination for everything we offer. This will also be a massive boost for our longer form content you’ll often find on Substack to avoid throttling via Twitter (thanks El*n). As of now, we don’t have a set launch date, but we can guarantee that the website will be up and running by the end of 2024. That being said, if you want to continue watching out for updates, keep an eye out on the Dizzle Dynasty Twitter.
